Julio Oyhanarte was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He worked for 13 years in his own law firm in Argentina, specializing in Constitutional, Civil, and Business law — building deep expertise across complex legal landscapes before ever stepping foot in the United States.
From 2010 to 2014, Julio was appointed Legal Secretary in the Argentine Federal Judicial Council, where he resolved complaints against federal judges, evaluated candidates for federal judicial positions, and handled regulation and budget execution. In 2017, he served in the Argentine National Congress as a legal adviser in the Constitutional Affairs Commission, drafting legislation and offering legal and political counsel.
After earning his Master of Laws (LLM) from UCLA — where he graduated as Valedictorian and received the Dean’s Tuition Fellowship Award — and a Master of Public Policy from King’s College London as a Chevening Scholar, Julio partnered with Gianfranco De Girolamo to co-found DGO Legal.
What started as a mission to help immigrants navigate the U.S. system exploded into a global movement. Through the Inmigración TV brand, Julio pioneered the use of short-form video to make immigration law accessible, building the world’s largest online immigration community — and proving that authentic content is the most powerful client acquisition tool a lawyer can have.
